CPAP

Following a sleep study, your GP or Sleep Physician will review your results and recommend if treatment is required.

Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea is easy and effective, and is achieved through the use of a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) device while sleeping.

CPAP effectively alleviates Obstructive Sleep Apnoea by using air pressure to prevent the airways closing during sleep. This treatment is non-invasive and will result in a better night sleep with less fatigue the next day, among other benefits.

ERSA provides the highest level of ongoing support for our patients. We can advise if any of your device settings should be adjusted, as well as to provide insights into the positive impact the CPAP machine has had on your sleep. Furthermore, at your request, ERSA is able to forward these results to your GP or Sleep Physician for additional analysis.

To ensure correct treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea your CPAP machine needs to be set up by one of our staff.
